The house rules.
By signing up, buying merch, or otherwise using LIFAAFA UG, you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to www.lifaafa.com and any pages we host on that domain.
1. Who can join
Anyone aged 6 or older. Members under 18 need a parent or guardian to complete the consent flow before their account is activated. We may refuse or terminate any account for any reason permitted by law.
2. The underground code
Membership is contingent on following the Underground Code shown at signup: be curious, write it down, connect slowly, be kind, keep it real, protect the small, create and share, respect privacy, disconnect to reconnect, and leave things better. Persistent or serious violations may result in warnings or termination.
3. Your content
Letters, field-book entries, and other content you create through LIFAAFA remain yours. By posting to public parts of the platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to display it within the community. We do not sell or licence your content to third parties.
4. Merch, orders, and refunds
- All merch is limited edition, numbered where indicated, and shipped from India.
- Orders ship within 14 working days of payment confirmation unless stated otherwise.
- Refunds are available for damaged or wrong items reported within 7 days of delivery. Custom or personalized items are non-refundable.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable except where required by law.
- All prices in Indian Rupees unless stated. GST included where applicable.
5. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to hack, scrape, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the platform. Do not use LIFAAFA to harass, dox, or endanger other members. Do not impersonate anyone. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
6. Payments
When we start selling merch through this site, payments will be processed by a third-party gateway. Their terms will apply to the transaction. We do not store card numbers or bank details on our servers.
7. Third-party services
We rely on Google Firebase, Resend, Formspree, and postal partners. If any of those services degrade or fail, parts of LIFAAFA may be temporarily unavailable. See our Privacy Notice for what data they process.
8. Limitation of liability
LIFAAFA UG is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where the law does not allow it, for example for gross negligence or fraud.
9. Termination
You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate the code or these terms, at our discretion, with reasonable notice unless the violation is severe.
10. Changes to these terms
We will announce material changes at least 14 days before they take effect, by email to active members and on the site. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bangalore, Karnataka.
